From the box: Triceratops ("thre-horned face") was a four-legged plant-eating dinosaur that was one of the last and largest in its family, Ceratopsidae. It grew to 30 feet in length, weighing as much as 6 tons. Its massive head had a short, solid neck frill, two long brow horns and a shorter horn on its nose. It probably lived in groups for added protection and grazed on plants among ancient redwood forests.
